Tasks and responsibilities

As a Hydraulic Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing hydraulic systems for Kalmar Solutions' products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the hydraulic solutions meet performance, quality, and cost requirements. Your work will play a crucial role in enhancing product efficiency and reliability.

  • Design and develop hydraulic systems for heavy machinery
  • Conduct testing and validation of hydraulic components and systems
  • Improve existing hydraulic solutions to enhance performance and efficiency
  • Collaborate with design engineers, suppliers, and project managers to ensure quality and functionality
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hydraulic-related issues in current and new designs

Education, experience and personal characteristics

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in hydraulic system design and development, preferably in heavy machinery or industrial applications
  • Knowledge of hydraulic components, circuits, and control systems
  • Familiarity with testing and validation processes for hydraulic systems
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
